Tea Board's Participation at Gulf Food 2012

Tea Board organized an India Pavilion at the Gulf Food 2012 Show (19-22 Feb 2012) on 42 sqm with participation from five leading exporters from India. The Pavilion was inaugurated by Ambassador of India to UAE H.E M. Lokesh. Number of trade inquires was very encouraging. On the very first day the total footfall for some of the exporters was more than 100. Trade inquiries for Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Kuwait and local market were there. Maximum trade inquires were for Darjeeling Tea followed by Assam Tea.
